Our Mission

Notre Dame-Academy strives to provide a safe, non-discriminating, nurturing, faith-based environment.

Our commitment is to provide a continuous curriculum from Kindergarten through 12th grade.

We lead our students to be disciples who know and live a true catholic faith while inspiring a harmonious learning community that fosters academic excellence. We strive to motivate our life-long learners to be responsible, faithful, and respectful citizens. That way, they may fulfill the great Commandments of Jesus, be responsible
and give service to the community and all those they meet.

An American School

Notre Dame Academy is proud to demonstrate its attachment for our country, the United States of America. A strong spirit of patriotism is instilled in the students. At the very start of the day, the Pledge of Allegiance is recited by all, thereby reminding the children of the importance of loving and respecting their country.

Philosophy of Notre Dame-Academy

Notre Dame-Academy’s philosophy encompasses the following:

 

  • Teaching according to the true Catholic Faith based on the Gospel of Our Lord Jesus Christ.

  • Preparing our students to be responsible adults living their Catholic Faith and be witnesses of Christ and of his Mother the Blessed Virgin Mary in the respect and love of others.

  • Learning is a lifelong process.

  • Every student has the ability to learn.

  • Our educational program must be conducted in a nurturing, safe, positive, and supportive environment.

  • A student’s education is a shared responsibility of the student, family, and school.

  • Notre Dame-Academy must be sensitive to the special needs of its school community and develop its educational program accordingly.
